Can this be hacked? Could someone watch my baby?

The stream is encrypted, and one tap turns the lens off. No camera on earth can promise you perfection, but we've taken away the doors that usually get used.
Where does the video actually go?
Onto a microSD card in your house. That's it. There's no company server storing your nursery, because we never built one. When you're away from home, the live view travels over the internet to your phone — that's the one part that leaves the house, and it's encrypted and behind your password.
Truly no subscription — or will features get locked later?
Truly none. Every feature on this page is included in the price and stays included. There's no account, no card on file, and nothing waiting behind a paywall at month three.
Will it drop out or lag on my WiFi?
It's a WiFi camera, so it wants a decent signal where the cot is — that's the honest answer. In a normal home with reasonable WiFi in the nursery it's stable. If your signal is weak at the back of the house, a dual-mode monitor with its own parent unit is genuinely the better buy, and we'd rather you knew that before ordering than after.
Is the night vision actually any good?
Yes — it's infrared, so you get a clear picture in a fully dark room without any light that could wake him. You don't need to leave a lamp on to see your baby.
