Purrspot™ GPS Cat Collar — No Subscription, No Nightly Charging
🌍 A million-phone search party — locates via Apple Find My & Google, no SIM
🔋 No subscription, ~12-month battery — no fees, no charging every other night
🐾 Cat-safe breakaway collar — auto-releases if snagged, ~20 g, splash-resistant
Does this sound familiar?

The night Biscuit didn't come home, I reached for the tracker — dead flat.
The subscription had lapsed too. I felt sick. He turned up two days later, terrified, hiding under a neighbour's shed. I swore never again — but I refused to pay monthly for a gadget I had to charge constantly.
Then I learned that every iPhone that walks past your cat quietly relays where it is — for free. So I built a light, breakaway collar around that: safe for cats, no subscription, a battery that lasts about a year.
Now I just glance at my phone and breathe.

🌍 A search party of a million phones
Purrspot™ doesn't need a SIM or a subscription. It taps the networks already built into a billion phones — Apple Find My and Google Find My Device. Every passing phone anonymously relays your cat's location to your app.
📍 Crowd-locate, no fees — the same network people trust to find lost keys and phones
👨👩👧 Family sharing — everyone can see where your cat is
🏙️ Best in towns & suburbs — shows a location whenever a phone is nearby (honestly: weaker in remote rural areas)

🔋 No subscription. No charging every night.
The 'proper' trackers punish you twice: a monthly fee that never ends and a battery you recharge every couple of days — flat exactly the night your cat bolts. Purrspot™ removes both.
🚯 No subscription, ever — buy once, it's yours
🔋 ~12 months on one CR2032 — swap the coin cell about once a year, no nightly charging
💧 Splash-resistant — built for outdoor cats

🐾 Made safe for cats
A bare AirTag was never designed for a cat's neck. Purrspot™ is a proper breakaway collar that auto-releases under tension, so your cat can't be caught on a branch or fence.
🛟 Anti-strangulation breakaway — releases if snagged
🪶 Light ~20 g — comfortable on small necks
🔧 Adjustable — fits kittens to adults, tools included
Peace of mind, without the two taxes
The 'proper' trackers charge you a monthly fee and make you recharge every couple of days. Purrspot™ drops both.
Crowd-locate, no fees
Taps Apple Find My and Google Find My Device — every passing phone anonymously relays your cat's position. No SIM, no subscription, ever.
A battery that lasts
About 12 months on one CR2032 coin cell. Swap it roughly once a year — no charging every other night when your cat needs it most.
Safe for your cat
A breakaway anti-strangulation collar that auto-releases under tension. Light ~20 g and splash-resistant — the safety a bare AirTag can't offer.
Pay once — not £59 a year, forever
Cheaper than a few months of a subscription — and it never charges you again.
Honest about how it finds your cat
✅ Great for
- Town & suburban cats that roam the nearby streets and gardens
- Owners fed up with subscriptions and nightly charging
- Cat parents worried about collar safety (breakaway)
- Sharing your cat's location with the whole family
ℹ️ What to expect
- It's a Find My crowd-locate device — not a live real-time rural GPS
- It shows a location whenever a phone passes near your cat: excellent in populated areas, weak in remote fields & woods
- Works with Apple Find My / Google Find My Device on the phone you already have
- Battery lasts ~12 months (replaceable CR2032)
Purrspot™ locates via the Apple Find My and Google Find My Device networks — it has no SIM and is not a live rural GPS. Location updates when a nearby phone relays it, so it works best in towns and suburbs. Always keep an ID tag on your cat as a backup.
Set up in about 5 minutes

Fit the breakaway collar
Adjust it to your cat's neck (two fingers' room) and click the tracker into place.

Add it in Find My
Open Apple Find My (or Google Find My Device) and pair it in a couple of minutes. Share with the family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this real GPS or just a Bluetooth tag?
Neither, exactly. It uses Find My crowd-locate via the Apple and Google networks — a far bigger range than Bluetooth (a whole-country relay). It updates your cat's location whenever a phone passes nearby, rather than live-streaming like a cellular GPS.
Will it find my cat in the countryside?
It's best in towns and suburbs where plenty of phones pass by. In remote fields or woods with very few phones around, it may only show a last-known location — so we're upfront that it's not a live rural GPS.
Is there really no subscription?
Yes — no SIM and no monthly fee. It runs on the free Apple Find My / Google Find My Device networks. The only upkeep is replacing the coin-cell battery about once a year.
How long does the battery last?
About 12 months on a standard CR2032 coin cell — no charging every couple of days like cellular trackers. When it's low, just pop in a new coin cell.
Is the collar safe for my cat?
Yes. It's a breakaway collar that auto-releases under tension to prevent strangulation if your cat snags it on a branch or fence. It's light (~20 g) and splash-resistant.
Will it fit my cat, and is setup hard?
The collar is adjustable for kittens to adults (tools included), and setup takes about 5 minutes in the Find My app you already have on your phone.
